Interesting, though they probably should’ve included Bernie Madoff, considering he really continues to influence people’s financial and personal lives (albeit negatively) all over the world. And why does Elana Kagan come before Ruth Bader Ginsburg?

    Madoff doesn’t actively influence any lifes anymore. and passive influence is no influence, it’s only memories, bad or good …

    Justice Ginsburg used to be one of the most “powerful” women in the world and she still deserves to be considered more influential as Elena, especially since Elena was until few weeks ago just as an influential Jew as thousands of others.

    But its also a fact that Ruth B. G. has lost some of her influence due to her pancreatic cancer surgery in February 2009, after already having had colon cancer in 1999. Pancreatic cancer is a serious disease, with poor rates of long-term survival: the three-year survival rate is about thirty percent, but less than 5 percent of those diagnosed are still alive five years after diagnosis.

    It’s not a secret that Ruth is on the White House Replacement Watch List. Not because they wish it, only because they fear it will become necessary earlier than anybody would like
